Muralitharan raised his hands to support SLC cricket

The newly elected chairman of Sri Lanka cricket Sidath Weththamuni the former test cricketer revealed that the interest of Muttiah Muralitharan  to help the game of cricket today (01) at a media briefing held at the head office of SLC.
Weththamuni further said that Retired legendary cricketer Mahela Jayawardene also extend his support to help SLC in a different capacity.
Mahela will help as in an honorary advisor capacity rebuild the grassroot  lever of the game in future.
At the same time Muralitharan raises his hand to to support SLC overall according to the requirements in different capacity said the chairman.
"I'm getting older, we should admit that the game has changed when comparing  to the stage that we played. Mahela retired recently and he have vision and played in different level of the game. We can use his brain to uplift the game " said Sidath Weththamuni
