Selectors named new faces for SL A squad against Pakistan A

Sri Lanka Cricket selection committee took the gamble by naming many new faces to the Sri Lanka "A" squad today  (13).


Sri Lanka "A" team will play three One Day matches and Three unofficial Test matches against visiting Pakistan from end of this month.

Newly elected selection committee which is headed by former Sri Lanka cricket Kapila Wijeygunawardane gave opportunities for youngsters who have performed in the Premier Domestic tournament for their respective domestic team.

However, national color holder Upul Tharanga who lead SL "A" team in many series lost his place in both squads.
