Coach Nishan speaking at the briefing said that there were many other talented athletes in the area he works in and who are willing to represent the country but due to financial problems have no way of bringing out their talents into the bigger arena.
The CricTurf team at the event today was also able to notice that many athletes from Sri Lanka who participated in the event with their own equipment and gear which was not of internationally accepted standards probably due to the financial situation those athletes have to face.
The CricTurf team would also like to wish Nimesha and all the other Sri Lankan athletes participating in the event the best of luck in the times to come.
