23, May 2012 (Cricturf): Carlton 7s rugby 2012 tournament officially launched today at The Galle Face Hotel premises with a media briefing about the context of the event.
The event about to start on next 26th (May) at Bogambara Stadium Kandy as the 1st Leg. Matches in Kandy will start at 9.30 AM and the 1st leg will decide on following day (27th).
Bollywood stars Prety Zinta & Vivek Oberoi whiling to participate in Carlton 7s as guest performers in Kandy. Bipasha Basu & Sameera Reddy will perform in Colombo leg.
The 2nd leg of the event will take part on 2nd and 3rd in Colombo Police park ground premises.
10 teams will compete against each other under the supervision of 10 overseas coaches along with 36 overseas rugby stars. (List of players)
A Mega concert will held end of the event in Colombo by Shankar, Esaan & Loy.
