Sri Lanka Cricket Xi lost their 1st tour match in Australia against Victoria 2nd Xi by 23 Runs. Upul Tharanga captained Sri Lankan team against Vicotria's development squad.
Victoria Xi started their batting and manage only to score 172 for 9 of their 50 overs. Tisara Perera, Welagedara, Maharoof and Herath managed to pick 2 wickets each of home team.
Sri Lankas chase failed 23 runs short.
