Sri Lanka Cricket held a press conference to explain the proceeding prior to the 3rd ODI against Pakistan. Skipper Mahela Jayawardane answered the press question about Kumar Sangakkara's current form and his views on it.

"Well that is Kumar. I'm not worried about kumar's form at all because he is one of those batsmen who has the capacity of giving strength to the line up from the top and charge back at anytime without being in out of form for a long time. He just missed out a couple of opportunities and he will surely bounce back and score runs and that is the reason I am not worried much about him." - Said Mahela.

Kumar Sangakkara is yet to perform something major in the current Pakistan tour.
