The 3rd Day of the 2nd Test match between Sri Lanka vs Pakistan called off due to rainy weather Conditions here in Colombo. End of the 2nd day playing Pakistan were 488/4 (Misbah-ul-Haq 29*, Asad Shafiq 1*, 134.2 ov) for the 1st inning.
Sri Lanka were able to pick Asad Safeeq & Adnan Akmal early today and Pakistan declared there inning for 551 for 6.
Rangana Herath was the only Sri Lankan succeed with the ball by picking 3 Pakistan Wickets for 164 Runs. Mohammad Hafeez socred 196 and Azar Ali scored 157for Pakistan.
Dilshan and Paranavithana opened for Sri Lanka for their 1st inning and Pakistan bowlers were able to send Pranavithana back without troubling scorers.
Dilshan (44*) and Kumar Sangakkara (22*) were at the middle when the rain stop play 10 mins before the Lunch.
Umpires Called off play for the 3rd Day at 3.30pm due to Rain.
Sri Lanka were 70 runs for 1 Wickets after 15 overs for the day.
