Irfan Pathan will replace injured Vinay Kumar for Lankan tour

(13th July 2012,Cricturf) : BCCI released a statement yesterday which confirmed Vinay Kumar who is suffering from a right hamstring injury that happened during the training on Thursday will not be available for the upcoming Sti Lankan tour and he will be replaced by the all-rounder Irfan Pathan. Furthermore, they have announced that Vinay Kumar is expected to regain his fitness to play in maximum three weeks.

 

Irfan will play for five One-Day Internationals and one Twenty20 International in Sri Lanka starting July 21st in Hambanthota.
