Kulasekara out of ODI series after groin injury

(23rd July 2012,Cricturf) : Sri Lankan fast bowler Nuwan Kulasekara to miss the rest of the series against India after the injury in his groin at the Saturday's game. 


Charith Senanayake the Sri Lankan team manager said that the condition or the extent of Kulasekara's injury was not yet to be known but said that he will not take part in the series . The replacement for Kulasekara, Sachithra Senananayake was announced. 


Kulasekara injured himself while attempting to catch Indian batsman Virender Sehwag in the 11th over while fielding at mid-off during the first game, won by India.
