The 4th One Day International match between India and Sri Lanka:

Mahela Jayawardane Won the toss and Elected to bat first, the pitch was bat first wicket according to history of the venue and also commentators review prior to the match.

Sri Lanka made two changers for today match, Lahiru Thirimanne made his way in for Injured Kumar Sangakkara and Nuwan Pradeep Fernando replced Isuru Udana.

Nuwan Pradeep Fernando made his One Day International Debut as the 153rd Sri Lankan Cricketer.

India replaced Rahul Sharma with Manoj Thiwary.

TM Dilshan and Upul Tharanga gave the start Sri Lanka need and formed a solid plat form for the Sri Lankan inning. Both openners formed a 91 runs partnership in 18.2 overs Dilshan gone as the first wicket of Sri Lankan inning for 42 runs. Lahiru Thirimanne cam in to the middle as the 3rd batsman of Sri Lanka to fill the vacant batting position of Kumar Sangakkara.

Lahiru  Thirimanne and Dinesh Chandimal were the other pair of batsman showed some aggressive approach after the Upul Tharanga's wicket for 51 Runs.

Dinesh Gone for 28 Runs after a careless mistake at the Sri Lanka of 152 Run, Dinesh and Lahiru formed 50 runs partnership in 63 deliveries. Mehala Jayawardane was the most disappointed batsman out of 6 batsman of Sri Lanka line up. Virendra Sehwag picked Mahela's wicket just for 3 runs and the catch was taken by Dhoni.

India struggled with Sri Lankan batting from the beginning and they used 8 bowlers to bowl their overs.

Sri Lanka were managed to score 251 Runs for 8 Wickets with the help of Lasith Malinga's 15* Runs and Rangana Heraths 17*.

Jeewan Mendis & Lahiru Thirimanne played a sensible innings to build a partnership after the Angelo Mathews's wicket.
