23, June 2012 (Cricturf): One more crown for the Lions with three crowns: The Sri Lanka's most spoken schools sporting sensation; Division A Schools Rugby league ended today with four final matches. Sri Lanka schools Rugby league (Division A) consisted of 10 participating schools who played against each other under the league method to select the champions for the year 2012.
Royal College became was the tournament favorites after their win against St Peters College up until the last weeks Bradby Shield 1st leg where they lost against Trinty College, Kandy. Trinty dominated the field at the Bradby Shield 1st Leg to beat Royal College (11-34) and pushed themselves into becoming this year champions. After the win, Trinty earned a total of 39.5 and climbed to the spot at league table for the first time.
Isipathana College, Colombo repeated their continuous form against Royal College yesterday(22) at the Longdon place and place themselves in the Runners up position with the much required bonus points. Isipathana College has a good record through out the league as they were beaten by the Trinty (23-20) and with Vidyartha (19-19) the game was drawn.
On the other hand, Trinty too lost one game through out the tournament and that was against St. Peters College (34-29) in league stages and their performance there after was magnificent and they truly deserved to be the Champions of the league.
Trinty played their final league encounter today (23) against DS Senanayake College at Pallekale. Trinty dominated the game from the beginning with consistant scoring.

Trinity wrapping up the entire game with a mammoth score margin 76-05, the Lion's with three crowns gained their league crown in style at their home.

Trinty will play their Bradby shield 2nd Leg match against Royal College on the last weekend of this month in Kandy.
Trinty College also earned triple crown in Under 19 Cricket School Season this year.
