(27th June 2012,Cricturf) : Sri Lanka Under - 22 football team is currently participating at the Asian Football Confederation U22s 2013 Qualifier matches at Saudi Arabia. Sri Lanka team played against Palestine Under 22 team and the Pakistan Under 22 teams so far in the group stages where both the games ended up drawn.
Qualification matches are played at the group stages and Sri Lankan team is playing in the Group B. Sri Lanka currently is at the 3rd position in the group stage with 2 points in hand. Lankan team will play 3 more matches in the series against Syria on 28th, Saudi Arabia on 30th and the last with Kyrgyzstan on 3rd of July.
