Sri Lanka started inning today behind 273 runs behind with 5 wickets in Hand, Angelo Mathews joined with Kumar Sangakkara as 7th batsman in Sri Lanka's inning. Both Sangakkara and Mathews looked solid with the bat for the 6th wicket.

Pakistan started their 2nd inning with Mohammad Hafeez & T Umar, both openers formed a 51 Runs partnership and the Hafeez'z wicket grabbed by Suraj Randiv for 21 Runs.

Pakistan made a slight change of their batting line up by sending Abdur Rahman as 3rd batsman. Rehman build another solid partnership of 48 Runs with Taufeeq Umar, Rehman made 36 runs in 22 balls with 3 sixers. Suraj Randiv again strike to get the dangerous Rehman bowled.

Pakistan Captain decide to declared their 2nd inning for 100 runs for 2 wickets and the match lead was 260. Sri Lanka needed 261 Runs in 37 overs to win the match.

TM Dilshan and Tharanga Paranavithana started the inning for Sri Lanka, Dilshan played aggressively from the beginning after Paranavithana's 10 runs in 1st over of the inning. 

Abdur Rehman was succeeded by picking Dilshans wicket for 28 Runs in 12 over of the inning.

Paranavithana gone for 32 as second wicket of Sri Lanka at the score of 78 runs. Both captains decided to call off the match end of the 22 overs and 15 overs left for the Day.

The 2nd Test of the 3 Test match series was draw and the 3rd Test match will be played at Kandy Pallekale Stadium from 8th of July.
