(13th July 2012,Cricturf) : Friday the 13th sure will be a bad day this time for all the cricket loving community as fast bowler Brett Lee announced his retirement from international cricket after 13 long years. He announced it few hours ago and he announced it to the entire world via his twitter account 3 hours back saying : "It's official, I have retired from international cricket! Thanks for all your love and support. It's been an amazing 13 year" . It is quite a shocking news especially when the community is still not over the sad retirement of Mark Boucher from international cricket.

13 year long international career of Lee consists of 76 Test matches, 221 one day internationals and 25 Twenty20 internationals. He will be retiring from international cricket as the second highest one dai international wicket taker for Australia behind their all time legend Glenn McGrath. He is also one out of four Australians to reach more than 300 wickets in Test cricket. However, Lee will continue playing in T20 leagues especially IPL and the Big Bash League.

With the announcement of the retirement, lot of international cricket stars, commentators and officials expressed their feeling about it and wishing Lee all the best for his future. Few of them are as below,
