(14th August 2012): World Carrom Championship will take place in Sri Lanka from October 31 to November 04 with 150 Carrom players from 20 countries to participating.
The 6th World Carrom Championship is scheduled to be held at Galadari Hotel, Colombo from October 31 - November 04, 2012, the Ministry of Sports said.
The Ministry further said nearly 150 Carrom players and officials from 20 countries representing Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, and Middle East will be participate at this event.
The Championship is organized by Sri Lanka Carraom Federation. The Sports Ministry has appointed organizing committees to look into matters pertaining to a successful participation and performance at Championship.
