(13th June 2012): Pakistan and Australian cricket boards are working on to submit a planned proposal to International Cric
ket Council (ICC) requesting for a five-match Twenty20 series to be held in Sri Lanka before the ICC World T20 starts in September 2012.
ICC however rejected the Pakistan Cricket Board request to have a seven match Twenty20 series and asked them to present the proposal at the ICC Chief Executives meeting which will be held in Kula Lumpur at the end of this month.
If ICC grand permission to go ahead with this series,it will be the longest Twenty20 series between two countries.
