(11th July 2012,Cricturf) : South Africa have called in the wicketkeeper Thami Tsolekile for the rest of the tour with England following the retirement of injured Mark Boucher. Boucher after his 15- year international career was forced
to end after the severe eye injury that took place with the game against Somerset.
Thami Tsolekile who is at the age of 31 will join the team for the three match Test Series but not likely to play in the first match starting at The Oval. As of now, AB de Villiers will take over the gloves for Proteas. South Africa haven't called in for a reserve keeper since 1998 and this was expected as Boucher retired because Thami was handed a central contract in the begining of this year(2012).
