(7th August 2012,Cricturf) : Abdur Rehman, the key Paksitani spinner is all set to make his debut for Somerset today. Re
hman agreed and was to join the Taunton club as their foreign player by the 1st of July and it was delayed due to visa clearance issues. The visa issue has been solved and Rehman has got all the required legal rights to face Nottinghamshire in the County Champions hip clash.
As it is stated in the club website, the director Brian Rose has stated that "I expect him to get runs as well as wickets. The great thing about having someone like Rehman is that world-class spinners can take wickets on any surface, especially when it comes to bowling out the tail. But he is a very useful lower-order batsman and it will be good to have a left-hander going in around number eight."
