(13th June 2012): 60 Sri Lankan Cricketers were lined up under 6 main Categories to sign central contracts for upcoming cricket season. The conflicts between the Sri Lanka Cricket and the players regarding players central contract was sorted out after discussions which ended up adding value to both ends. Sri Lankan players were supposed to sign their contracts before the current Pakistan series which didn't happen due to the issues they had regarding the clarity and the transparency of new clauses that were added in the contract. Internal sources reveals that the contract signing will happen during the next couple of weeks.
