'Kumar deserve the rest to prepare upcoming T20 world cup' says Mahela

End of the 3rd One Day International against India Mahela expressed his view regarding the match and Kumar Sangakkara's injury.

A Question raised whether Mahela disappoint with Sangakkaras lost for next 6 moths or the lost against India today (28) two balls to left.

Mahela Replied that the Sangakkara's lost as a huge blow for Sri Lanka's team formation and also Kumar's assistance for him (Mahela) during matches. But Mahela Defend Sangakkara that he is deserve to have a break prior ICC Twenty 20 world cup, and make sure he is fit to play.

"Kumar had not get enough rest during last couple of month and he deserve to have a rest & make sure to fit for upcoming twenty20 world cup."

Kumar Sangakkara will not available for any form of Cricket at least for 5 weeks time after the suspect fracture on his right hand little finger.

Mahela further explained his injury during Sri Lanka's inning, Kumar and Mahela built a successful 121 runs partnership for the 4th wicket after Sri Lanka lost their 1st three wickets for 19 Runs.

The injury made at the last ball of the 15th over and Kumar Sangakkara was at 24 Runs, he was able to add 49 more runs to his tally with the injury and Mahela explained the inning between them.

According to Mahela Kumar Sangakkara only managed to rotate the strike because of his first hand injury and Mahela continued to pinch runs around the wicket.

Kumar Sangakkara will not available for inaugural Sri Lanka premier League as he is the Iconic & Captain of the Kandurata Warriors, his absent will be a huge blow for Kandurata franchises.
