SLPL : Highlights - Uthura take down Basnahira with them

^{(21st August 2012, Cricturf): The 15th match of the Sri Lanka Premier League tournament between the Basnahira Cricket Dundees and the Uthura Rudra's came to an end with Uthura winning the match by 4 wickets with 4 balls remaining with the help of a last minutes match winning knock by Chamara Kapugedara who scored 69 runs off 42 balls with two 4's and five 6's.}

^{Skipper of Basnahira, Dilshan won the toss earlier in the day and elected to bat first scored 150 runs}^{for 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Rilee Rossouw high scored for BCD with 44 off 37 while the rest struggled. Madushanka E} ^kanayake ^{of Uthura took 2 wickets for 35 runs.}

^{In reply, Uthura were steady in their chase except for the occasional loss of wicket. Chamara Kapugedara top scored for the Uthura Rudras. Imran Farhat and Dillon du Preez also contributed with the bat.}

^{Uthura Rudra's held onto their nerves to win the match and thereby effectively ruining the chances of Basnahira to reach the Semi Finals of the tournament having lost 4 games. Basnahira are the 2nd team to go down after Uthura lost their chance loosing their 4th match against Uva few days back. 5 teams remain in the contest for the second stage of the tournament with the top four in the points table reaching the semi finals while Wayamba who is leading the points table having won all four matches played have already secured a spot in the semi's.}
