ICC Twenty 20 Trophies of 2012 series arrived Colombo Sri Lanka yesterday(29), trophies were Paraded through the streets of Colombo from the Galle Face to Independance square included Traditional Dancers, drummers, elephants & Sri Lanka flavored Papare music.
Both trophies handed over to Sri Lanka sport minister and president of SLC by ICC Chief executive officer David Richardson. Lasith Malinga & Shashikala Siriwardane the captain of Sri Lanka woman participated in the occasion as icon players of the ICC Twenty20 world cup in Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka hosts the tournament from September 18 to October 7 in 3 Venues (Hambantota, Pallekale & Colombo) and the womans Matches will play at Galle International Stadium and Semi Finals and finals will play at same venue of Men's in Colombo.
